The ridge is a finishing element used in thermally insulating sandwich panels for roofs. Its role is to close and protect the joints between the panels at the ridge of the roof, preventing water infiltration and ensuring good tightness.
It is made of galvanized, painted or pre-painted steel sheet, similar to sandwich panels, and as for the shape, it has a trapezoidal profile, adapted to the shape of the roof panels, for the best possible fit.
Installation recommendations:
Choosing the correct ridge: we make sure that the dimensions match exactly the fold and the height of the fold of the sandwich panel
Using sealing strips: to prevent infiltration
Correct fixing: Self-drilling screws must be mounted in the appropriate points to prevent damage to the protective layer of the sheet.
